Recently relocated to Jávea on Spain’s Costa Blanca, the ever-elaborate Beat Mongrel is an empowered Techno artist with an eclectic musical palate. His music background is deeply rooted in jazz fusion, indie and rock, before discovering his passion for electronic music.
His approach to music leans in the direction of endless possibility and constructing an image through layers of sound. Throughout the years, absorbing the rich and diverse musical culture of his hometown of Bristol, Beat Mongrel’s understanding of electronic music has aided in the development of refining himself as an artist.
Beat Mongrel’s main impetus is dancefloor-orientated House and Techno music, driven explicitly by funk and groove.
This clear identity has won him fans all over, with Beat Mongrel performing at clubs and festivals all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. The most noteworthy highlights include Sankeys (Manchester) and Plug (Sheffield). All the while he was hosting his Bristol parties, Booom and Blush, alongside providing the music backdrop to his events as the resident DJ.
A seasoned DJ at heart, he is now fully invested in growing into a fully-fledged production artist in his own right.
